1. Team Management & Leadership:o Supervise and lead a team of sales coordinators, import-export specialists, and logistics personnel.o Assign daily tasks, set performance goals, and provide coaching and support to team members.o Ensure the team adheres to company policies, procedures, and timelines in all aspects of sales, import, and export operations.2. Import and Export Operations:o Oversee and ensure the timely processing of orders, shipments, and product deliveries in compliance with international regulations.o Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely reorders for international markets.o Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other third-party vendors to ensure smooth delivery processes.3. Customer Relations:o Serve as a point of contact for key customers and suppliers, managing relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.o Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide prompt resolutions to issues related to product orders, deliveries, and documentation.o Ensure timely updates on shipping status, product availability, and any potential delays to international clients.4. Documentation & Compliance:o Review and ensure the accuracy of all export/import documents, including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.o Ensure adherence to all international trade laws, customs regulations, tariffs, and licensing requirements.o Stay updated on changing regulations and communicate necessary adjustments to the team.5. Sales Support & Coordination:o Support the Sales Manager in developing strategies to increase sales in international markets.o Coordinate with the sales team to ensure that customer requirements are met efficiently, including product specifications, delivery schedules, and promotional activities.o Assist in the preparation of quotations, contracts, and pricing for international sales.6. Reporting & Performance Tracking:o Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales growth, order fulfillment, shipping costs, and customer satisfaction.o Prepare and submit regular reports on import/export activities, sales performance, and operational challenges to senior management.7. Problem Resolution & Continuous Improvement:o Address operational challenges and conflicts that arise in the day-to-day operations of the import/export process.o Propose and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.o Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, procurement, marketing) to align objectives and streamline operations.
