Job Description
** JOB PURPOSE**
To generate profitable sales growth within agreed budget targets and sales channel through the development of existing customer relationships and new opportunities. Utilizing company’s technology and their own market expertise combined with business acumen to gain a competitive edge, and penetrate the market while maintaining a strong contractual relationship with the legacy customer base. To take personal responsibility for the revenue line and its growth as the company continues to augment the capability to serve ongoing market needs.
To support the Business Plan for the company in Thailand and wider company Group Business Strategies to deliver above market growth in all sectors the business enters.
Identify target markets and accounts for developing the business plan in line with the overall strategy for the Company Group – Thailand.
Hold sales budget responsibility for designated channel, achieving an aggressive double digit growth target per year (including sales volume, value and profit) by leveraging the strength of the group and the value proposition provided to the market. Responsibility for sales development (top line growth) and for Segment / Product profitability (Gross Margin / Operating Income).
Generate profitable sales by promoting products and solution benefits to the customer.
To liaise with both technical and operational teams concerning viability of new sections, lead times, delivery details, machine availability, manufacturing programs to promote a unified approach to the customer.
Be responsible for the complete analysis of the market environment within the area helping to identify new business opportunities / threats, developing strategy and actions to address any negative trends.
Conduct daily business with balanced risk whilst strictly observing Business Ethics, Quality and company Group Values.
Prepare monthly updates to prospect pipelines and monthly forecasts. Develop and implement the strategy for sales prospecting.
Develop knowledge of competitive products, strategy and activities for competing in your sales channels which are to be communicated through specific competitor landscape reports.
Manage contract negotiations from initial enquiry through to quotation and final close of order. In doing so prepare competitive quotations based upon company pricing structures/policy ensuring appropriate margins are achieved.
To visit both existing and potential customers though customer categorization and effective journey planning, which is logged and managed through the CRM system.
Work with local Finance and Credit Control to ensure customer payments are received on agreed dates.
Keep expenses in line with the productivity and sales plan for the region.
Follow the company’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Requirement
• Male / Female, Age 32-40 years old
• Degree in Engineering/Business Administration or related field, MBA preferable
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales engineering/construction or commercial leadership role.
• Previous experience key customer management within construction material market (preferably dry lining), ideally dealing with modern trades, distributors, residential developers, home builders, architect firms or product specifiers.
• Demonstrated revenue growth managing a multimillion $ region.
• Commercial acumen with strong understanding of company finances and ability to use this information to drive decision making.
• Detailed knowledge of working in an MNC business
• A car and a driving license are needed.
