  • Job Description

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software & electrical engineers, assembly engineers and manufacturing technicians, to define software integration requirements for motorcycles during the EOL phase.
    - Develop and implement software integration strategies, procedures, and workflows for the production line, ensuring efficient and error-free software integration.
    - Design and execute software testing and validation plans to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and functionality of embedded software systems in motorcycles.
    - Conduct comprehensive tests and inspections on motorcycles to verify the appropriate installation and functioning of software systems, including engine management, electronic control units, diagnostics, connectivity, user interfaces and more.
    - Troubleshoot software-related issues identified during testing and collaborate with software development teams to resolve them effectively.
    - Develop and maintain documentation, including software integration guidelines, test procedures, and standard operating procedures, to ensure consistent and efficient software integration practices across the production line.
    - Collaborate with software development teams to provide feedback on software requirements, design, and performance improvements based on the integration experience.
    - Stay updated with the latest advancements in motorcycle software systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to enhance software integration practices and procedures.
    - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize software integration processes, reduce cycle time, and improve overall quality and reliability.
    - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with software systems and testing equipment, ensuring a safe and secure workplace for all team members.
    - Undertake and assist with duties as required by your Manager.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Male/Female, age 28 years old up.
    - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A relevant combination of education and experience will also be considered.
    - Experience in software integration, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry is desirable.
    - Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve software-related issues, such as the interpretation of .setx, .log, .config &.odx files.
    - Proficient knowledge of MS office package, particularly advance skill level of Excel for database management.
    - Knowledge of embedded software systems, software development lifecycle, and software integration methodologies is desirable.
    - Knowledge in programming languages such as C/C++ or Java is desirable.
    - Familiarity with software testing and validation methodologies, including test automation frameworks and tools is desirable.
    - Knowledge with diagnostic tools and protocols used in automotive or motorcycle software systems (e.g., CAN, LIN, UDS) is desirable.
    - Working knowledge of configuring / maintaining Mahle EOL software is desirable.
    - Excellent at English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    - Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
    - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
